ArtReach Artist since 2007
Ines Villalobos was born in Mexico, and currently resides in San Mateo. She finds great inspiration in nature, creating maximalist abstracted paintings that are highly energetic. Her work regularly features butterflies, flowers, patterns, and other motifs that, in her words, “make it look like they are having a party”. Multiple layered mediums from acrylic to oil pastel to ink, create vivid and dense work. Ines is always exploring new ideas and says that creating art makes her feel joy. Ines has exhibited at Art Saves Lives Gallery, Tedda Hughes Gallery and Sanchez Art Center.
