Sabine Altieri likes to create artwork about things that are important to her such as music, film, and animals. Her colorful work often employs mixed media techniques ranging from acrylic to textiles to watercolor. When creating artwork, Sabine is very gestural, using strong lines and bold colors resulting in vivid designs that immediately draw the viewer in. Her work often features imagery that relates to her love of horror films and folklore. When asked what she likes about creating art, Sabine says “It keeps me calm and relaxed and takes my mind off things”. Sabine has exhibited work at Skyline College, San Mateo County Fair and The Walt Disney Family Museum.
